Developed tables, Stored Procedures for SQL Server 2000 data base.
Performed ETL of financial data from AS-400 financial system to SQL Server utilizing DTS Packages.
Successfully managed the Infosys team of offshore and onshore software developers resulting in the delivery of 12 applications for both Chicos and Pazo. These companies are in the soft-retail industry, which are switching their financial software systems from an AS/400-based application to a .NET/SQL Server 2000 based Windows 2000 server environment.
Developed, tested and deployed .NET applications for Pazo financial software systems including: Time and Attendance, Sales Versus Payroll, and Store Supply Order. This was accomplished using VB.NET, SQL Server 2000 Stored Procedures, Crystal Reports and Windows Scripts.
Performed a database/software review with Microsoft of CRS, Inc.s Point of Sale system utilized by Chicos FAS, Inc. Identified areas where tight schedules resulted in less than optimal database design/software and suggested changes to the way Chicos managed CRS. This included an assessment of risk to software changes and increased Chicos presence in the change request process.
Provided systems analysis of complete SQL Server system encompassing multiple vendors (STS, IBM, Lawson, Infosys) and provided systems integration solution resolving server names, ftp addresses, server directory structures, user names, passwords, database names, and application input/output files empowering Chicos to move forward with its project. |
